FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What would a new patient assessment involve?
A. A Comprehensive assessment of your neck, lower jawline, lips, cheeks, gums and teeth along with a couple of X-Rays and a friendly discussion to decide what treatment best suits your needs.
Q. Am I going to be comfortable throughout my dental treatment?
A. Yes, our clinicians are extremely gentle and are regularly commended on our Facebook and Google reviews for the comforting and pain-free service they provide.
Q. How soon can I get an appointment?
A. Generally we're able to see patients within a fortnight at the latest for routine dental care or within the same day for management of dental pain.
Q. Do you see emergency patients?
A. Yes, we're generally able to see most emergency patients within 24 hours.
Q. What are the different treatment options?
A. Cosmetic, general, dental implants, clear aligners including invisalign, composite bonding, teeth whitening, anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, skin boosters.
Q. Do you offer dental plans?
A. Yes, we have our own patient plans which include 2 annual exams, 2 scale and polishes, all your X-Rays and 10% off any treatment you might require. All for the price of £19 a month.
Q. Why are dental X-rays needed?
A. They are necessary to diagnose issues with teeth and gums, check for changes over time, and monitor overall oral health. Most dental disease goes undetected until it has advanced a lot, at which point treatment might be invasive or require the removal of teeth.
Q. What are the benefits of having regular check-ups?
A. Regular dental checkup and X-Rays allows for early detection and prevention of dental decay, gum disease, and oral cancer.
Q. How can I improve my oral hygiene?
A. The most basic advice is to brush twice daily with an electric toothbrush, clean between your teeth with floss or Waterpik and keep sugary and sticky foods to a minimum, opting for healthier alternatives such as apples.
Q. Does using mouthwash really help?
A. On a day-to-day basis, I would not recommend using mouthwash as it interacts and inhibits toothpaste; however, at times when you are not brushing your teeth, i.e. after lunch, mouthwash can provide some protection against dental disease.
